"The roast lamb at Mythos is consistently our best Greek food experience ever and the service is always excellent. Mythos dining room area is decorated with art inspired from ancient Greece. The skylight and natural plants always make us feel comfortable there and our lunch or dinner even more enjoyable. Combined with generous food portions and reasonable prices make Mythos the best Greek restaurant in Vancouver."

Best Humus & Tzatziki in the GVRD

"Good food, great people, good relaxing atmosphere. AMAZING HUMUS! fluffy and light in texture, but fresh, and amazing flavor. The Tzatziki is really good, but the Humus is what stands out the most. Good food, a little more expensive than most places, but worth the money, the food is made fresh, so may take a little longer than some places, but well worth the wait."

"I went here as part of a group of 7 at 2pm on a Friday afternoon for lunch. I had the Mythos Lunch Special which included: bean and vegetable tomato soup (delicious! so fresh!) light, fluffy, delicious tzatziki with fried pita (sooo good, the tzatziki) a platter of lightly battered fried calamari, half of a large spanakipita, and a Greek meat patty
This was seriously the best Greek lunch I've ever had. It was $12.95 + tax/tip per person (minimum of 2 orders for this lunch special). A real deal, if you ask me, for the quality you get.
Four of us ordered this and were all very satisfied with our lunch!
I will definitely come back again. That tzatziki and calamari are sooooo addictive. Nothing was too salty. You tasted the freshness of the food. If I came for dinner, I would definitely want to try their stuffed grilled calamari and other things that looked so delicious on the menu.
Another lunch special they had was one that was $14.95 per person (min. 2 orders), that included tiger prawns and scallops, hummus, and other things (but no calamari). That looked enticing as well.
Hope you have a chance to try this gem on Lonsdale Drive in North Vancouver!"

"Have been there many times and I am impressed to see how many Greeks dine there. That’s a sure sign the food is good! Loved the roast lamb and stuffed prawns and basically everything I tried. Very clean, gorgeous room with art of ancient Greece. Service was perfect, wine list was very good. Would definitely go back!!"

"Dined there 2 weeks ago with a party of 4. I was a bit skeptical as I heard there were new owners. The food was even better than before!! I heard from a few Greeks in town, that the new owner Nick, is the best chef when it comes to Greek cuisine. I figured they would know best. They were right! We had the stuffed jumbo prawns to start and they were amazing!! Our server made some excellent suggestions (lamb casserole with chick peas, spinach and tomatoe sauce) again, amazing!! The roast lamb was to die for!!
The service was prompt and friendly. I was impressed with how clean and inviting the room was. Make sure you check out the art done by a local Greek artist. Beautiful images of ancient Greek figures and scenes. The rustic fire place was cozy and warm. You won’t find the traditional blue and white Greek restaurant decor here, but a warm
and inviting room to spend hours enjoying top quality food at very good prices.
Make sure you call to reserve as there were line ups on a Thursday night when we were there!"

"Best. Greek. Food. Ever. A little pricey, but authentic. Trust me, it's my ex's favourite Greek restaurant, and he's Greek. Even the prices are worth it considering the ambiance and service. I would definitely recommend this place. For a special occassion as well as an intimate date."

Great dining experience

"Went to Mythos with my boyfriend for dinner last night. We had a great time! The service was friendly, prompt and warm. Our server checked on us regularly but it wasn't intrusive at all.
Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. Pita bread arrived still warm at the table with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip it in and the calamari was a highlight for us. We ordered a platter for 2 and there was enough food for at least 3 people. We will definitely be back again!"

Authentic Greek food

"It's ironic that the best Greek food on the lower mainland is on the North shore and no longer on the west side of the Broadway corridor or the west end. The food here is always authentic, fresh and well prepared and the service and ambiance conducive to an enjoyable night out. Their lamb, spinach and chick pea casserole will set you free!"

"We've been eating here for years, and have never had anything but consistently great food. the lamb chops are top drawer...just came back from greece, and it wasn't any better. This place should be anyone's top of the list, if they have any love for greek food..."

"I have dined there many times and have never been dissapointed. Excellent staff. Has a nice atmosphere in the summer and you can also wait at the bar for your table. This is always a nice feature to have in a restaurant."

"I have dined here time and time again! The service is excellent with an authentic Greek ambience to the restaurant. The food is incredible and I highly recommend the Symposium for two or more. I also suggest you make reservations as it can get very busy, especially on the weekends."
